Our team wins a silver medal in RoboTwin Dual-Arm Collaboration Challenge of CVPR2025!
Our team participated in the RoboTwin Dual-Arm Collaboration Challenge at the 2nd MEIS Workshop @ CVPR 2025 and won the silver medal (6th globally) in the first-round simulation challenge and are now competing in the second-round real-world robot trials.
With increasing demand for robots to autonomously handle complex tasks, Embodied AI has become key in robotics. Hosted by CVPR 2025’s MEIS Workshop, this challenge pushes Embodied AI boundaries through dual-arm robot tasks using the RoboTwin simulator and real platforms. The competition focuses on precise manipulation of rigid objects. Participants develop algorithms enabling robots to grasp, move, and interact with objects in a controlled manner. Solutions are tested in both simulation and real-world settings.
In the Round 1 of the competition (simulation), our team tackled six tasks—Empty Cup Place, Blocks Stack Hard, Bowls Stack, Dual Shoes Place, Put Bottles in Dustbin, and Classify Tactile—using fine-tuned models like DP3 and RDT. In Round 2 (real robot), five tasks—Shorts Folding, Towel Folding, Pen Capping, Water Pouring, and Plates Stacking—are addressed through fine-tuning of VLA models such as RDT and Pi0.
Congratulations on our team and wish them a good luck in the second-round real-world robot trials!
